This comprehensive SQ-LNS operational guidance document:

  1. Aims to build on and harmonize existing guidance by providing practical information to policymakers, program managers, and implementers. 
  2. Addresses key considerations when deciding whether and how to integrate SQ-LNS into existing programs in countries with high levels of child undernutrition or household food insecurity.
  3. Presents evidence-based best practices for designing, implementing, and monitoring effective programs aimed at preventing child undernutrition in resource-limited, vulnerable settings.
  4. Includes several case studies to highlight context-specific differences and program parameters.
